Customer Artwork Guidelines and Electronic Art Information

In order to produce great looking labels two things must happen. First, we must understand what the customer needs and expects.

What is “good artwork”? Good artwork is:

  1. Electronic art (the quickest and most accurate)
Electronic art can be sent to us on: 3-1/2" Floppy Disc, 100 MB Zip, CD-Rom, or E-mail
  2. A film positive or negative containing no gray or fuzzy areas and sharp
    edges - Must be opaque
  3. Flat as well as proportional to the finished size
  4. A high contrast black and white (PMT)

NOTE: A good color proof to evaluate your label is a must for discovering any potential printing problems prior to the final film output. It's much better to discover problem areas there than on the press.
